Cloud Lake, FL 'Operations Manager for Stationary Wood Production (m/f)


Since 2019, HORNBACH Forst GmbH has been producing fresh firewood by the cubic meter at an increasing number of locations throughout Germany.

As a rapidly growing start-up within our HORNBACH family, we are looking for reliable team players who enjoy working with customers and producing firewood.


Your responsibilities:


  • As the Operations Manager (m/f) for stationary wood production, you will independently manage the operational control of the production site and ensure the achievement of predetermined production and productivity goals.
  • You will optimize production processes in accordance with Lean principles and coordinate all operational production processes and support processes at the site.
  • You will conduct onsite discussions and coordinate with management.
  • You will create and monitor personnel deployment plans and capacity planning.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and conducting status reports for management.
  • Lastly, you will be the point of contact for all onsite inquiries.

Your qualifications:


  • A solid foundation is your cornerstone. You have a degree in business administration or alternatively a commercial education with further training and several years of experience in an operational trade or production environment.
  • Experience in the wood processing industry, such as forestry, sawmills, or large carpentry companies, is highly desirable.
  • You possess indepth knowledge of communication, disciplinary leadership of employees, and have relevant experience in managing a production facility.
