Description

As the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), we work every day to ensure a functioning, stable, and integral financial system - and thus also for a competitive financial center in Germany. As the supervisory authority for banks, insurance companies, financial service providers, and securities institutions, we operate at the heart of the financial industry and protect consumers. As part of the Single Supervisory Mechanism and Single Resolution Mechanism for banks in the eurozone, we are networked in Europe and worldwide and shape European and international financial market standards.

We are currently looking for several

Consumer Protection Officers (m/f/d) for the Securities Supervision Department

for a permanent position in full-time or part-time as a clerk at our offices in Bonn or Frankfurt am Main.

In the Consumer Protection Department, we contribute to ensuring that consumers are treated fairly in the financial market. In the interest of all consumers, we monitor banks, insurance companies, and securities service providers and address any misconduct. We advocate for a transparent and understandable offering of financial and insurance products and services. Through information and broad education on financial topics, we strengthen the financial literacy of consumers. This contributes to protecting consumers from risks in the financial market.
