Description

On behalf of our client, a renowned company in the shipbuilding industry, we are looking for a construction engineer for the ship equipment department.

Your responsibilities

  • Designing components and assemblies in the equipment department
  • Creating technical specifications as well as production and workshop drawings
  • Integrating various systems and equipment in shipbuilding
  • Creating detailed designs and overview plans
  • Maintaining lists of parts and equipment
  • Calculating weights and centers of gravity
  • Coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal departments

Your profile

  • A degree in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in ship equipment is desirable
  • Proficiency in a common CAD program, ideally Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or Siemens NX
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Structured and independent work style, as well as teamwork and dedication
