Role and responsibilities

Facilitate a smooth transition of new products from development to production
Ensure early involvement and representation of operations in new product introductions
Provide manufacturing requirements for new products
Conduct risk assessments throughout the project using appropriate tools
Prepare the factory, employees, and processes for the new product and ensure timely investments for a successful pilot phase and future ramp up
Focus on industrialization for volume production, including SPC, process capability, yield, and training
Take responsibility for the pilot phase of the product
Compile and improve project and product KPIs
Represent production in the product team
Collaborate closely with D&E, product and process engineering, production, operational excellence, and technology capability departments
