What you will learn in your apprenticeship

Do you want the best of both worlds? Then an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) is just right for you. Here, electronic controls and mechanical drives are combined. We are looking for motivated young talents for our globally active company in the fields of ship engines and steam turbine systems.

  • You will learn comprehensive knowledge and skills in the production, maintenance and repair of machines, equipment and large engines, in quality control, as well as in mechanics and electrical engineering and their interaction
  • Your basic/specialized training will take place in our training workshop, while the specialized training will be conducted in the corresponding departments of our production
  • You will attend the vocational school Farmsen in Hamburg in blocks
  • Supplementary training will be provided in cooperation with a partner company
  • You can look forward to a varied work routine with assignments in assembly and on board ships
  • We will continue to train you through in-house training sessions

We offer good chances of being hired after successfully completing the apprenticeship and expect a willingness to travel worldwide for the repair and maintenance of our ship engines and steam turbine systems.

What you bring to the table
  • At least a successfully completed secondary school diploma
