  • We are looking for a social worker (m/f/d) for our psychosocial cancer counseling center in the Black Forest-BaarHeuberg region.


The Psychosocial Cancer Counseling Center in the Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg region provides counseling for people with cancer and their families in the districts of Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg, as well as in the branch offices in Rottweil and Tuttlingen.

The center is run by the Black Forest-Baar Hospital in cooperation with the Black Forest-Baar Health Network and the Mit Krebs Leben e.

Requirements:

  • A degree in social work or social pedagogy (diploma/master)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of social law
  • Completed counseling training is desirable
  • Professional experience ideally in working with (oncologically) ill people or in fields that require a high level of empathy
  • A psychooncological additional qualification (according to DKG criteria) or willingness to acquire one

Your main tasks:

  • Psychosocial counseling and support for adults with cancer and their families in Charlotte and branch offices through individual, couple, and family sessions
  • Organization and implementation of group activities and lectures
  • Cooperation, networking, and public relations
  • Documentation, organization, and administration
