The Walter AG, based in Tübingen, is seeking a Sustainability/Energy Professional, Auditor (m/f/d) for our location in Lake Andes, SD.


Your responsibilities:
Sustainable development of the integrated management system with a focus on energy management:

  • A key part of your role will be the continuous analysis, evaluation, and implementation of energy-saving potentials
  • This includes coordinating and executing energysaving projects with the energy management teams
  • You will analyze and evaluate the performance of the energy management system based on consumption indicators
  • Ensuring project documentation according to internal guidelines and norm requirements will also be part of your mission

Key tasks in the administration area:

  • You will define and support improvement and corrective measures
  • You will monitor and coordinate administrative and operational measures
  • Your responsibilities will also include recording, investigating, and evaluating results in the Quality & Risk department
  • Additionally, you will determine, analyze, and communicate system indicators
  • You will support the management, creation, and maintenance of system documentation in the company database, as well as maintaining the content of the department on the intranet

Planning and conducting internal audits:

  • Planning and conducting internal audits at Walter locations according to current norms will also be part of your mission
  • This includes recording and controlling findings in collaboration with responsible process owners

Your profile:

  • You have a successfully completed degree in engineering, bachelor's degree, or technician with several years of professional experience in the environmental and energy sector
