Team Leader for Firing Operations Grinding Bodies (m/f/d)

What to Expect in This Role

  • Assume responsibility for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the firing operations team at our Fox Chapel location
  • Promote and continuously develop team members in the firing operations team
  • Ensure proper and timely planning and execution of production orders
  • Develop and improve recipes for ceramic and plastic-bonded grinding bodies
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and auxiliary substances and ensure timely replenishment
  • Responsible for ongoing review and optimization of processes
  • Ensure quality control through self-inspection

Your Profile

  • Completed education as a materials scientist or industrial ceramist, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in production and serial production
  • Strong experience in team leadership and development
  • Good knowledge of process optimization (LEAN, 5S,...), SAP and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Independent
