About the position:

We are currently seeking an Economy Designer to assist us in developing a player-driven economy in Reamstown, PA.

This is an exciting opportunity to design a virtual economy from the ground up and shape the tools that will guide it for years to come


As a member of our Economy Team, you will work closely with development teams to design tools that monitor and maintain the player-driven economy.

You will also identify and prioritize plans to address in-game economic issues and crises. But it's not all serious business - you will also design features that promote player retention and monetization.


What you will do:


  • Create and present reports on the overall health of the playerdriven economy
  • Propose features that give players more control
  • Conduct research to validate experimental changes
  • Develop and manage tools to simulate game balance
  • Maintain documentation of economic systems and policies

Who we think will be a great fit:

  • 2+ years of experience in Economy Design or Data Analysis
  • Proficiency in using quantitative analysis and modeling to make decisions and recommendations
  • Detailoriented with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel or other spreadsheet software

Bonus:


  • Familiarity with Unity
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as R or MATLAB
  • Experience working on a multiplayer game with complex economies
