Research Associate (m/f/d)

- Salary group 13 TV-L -

to be filled part-time with 50% of the regular weekly working hours. The position is limited to 3 years.

The responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of bachelor students in the completion of their final theses
  • Preselection of topic areas
  • Assignment of specific topics for bachelor theses in consultation with the department head
  • Guiding and supporting students in the completion of their assigned topics
  • Supervision of the scientific exploration of the assigned topics. Introduction to scientific work, implementation of good scientific practice
  • Participation in the evaluation of the work
  • Support of the department in teaching for the bachelor's degree program (preparation of seminars, practical modules, exams including correction of exams)
  • Own research and further qualification in the field of resource management, with a focus on agrobiodiversity and agroecology

Required profile:

  • Completed master's degree in agricultural sciences or related fields with a focus on agroecology, biodiversity, ecosystem services, and landscape ecology with a grade of good or very good
  • Ability to analyze complex issues
  • Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
  • Independent work, flexibility, and teamwork skills
