For our successful, social tutoring project in Braunschweig, we are looking for great teachers (DaF/DaZ) with a lot of motivation and enjoyment in working with children and teenagers.

The target group are school-aged children and teenagers with an increased need for language support in German.

The position is intended as part-time or freelance for 10-15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and implementation of extracurricular German lessons
Preparation for exams or assessments
Support in preparing school materials
Short feedback conversations with students and parents
Creating an appropriate learning environment for the children

Qualifications:

Students of teaching or completed studies (preferably in pedagogy with a focus on DaF/DaZ)
Teachers with a friendly demeanor and a lot of empathy
Patience and motivation to individually support our students
Intercultural competence
