Overview:


Are you up for challenges? CAES is looking for a Team Player to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at the Lancaster or Woburn facility.

Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and being able to adapt to a rapidly changing production environment brings with it an exciting opportunity to influence the successful execution of production goals and achieving operational excellence.

This position must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance to the level of Secret.


As the Program Financial Analyst you will monitor company cost performance and ensure accurate costing of products, while maintaining compliance with applicable policies and regulations in a manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Reviews and analyzes job profitability, and historical job cost data and trends.
  • Provides continual feedback on job cost performance to program managers and functional departments, and initiates corrective action.
  • Estimates cost at completion for all jobs.
  • Prepares monthly Statement of Operations, including calculation of cost of sales and backlog.
  • Prepares various financial forecasts: sales, profit, manpower, etc.
  • Estimates labor and material costs for new bids as required.
  • Performs various statistical analysis and operational performance analysis
  • Reviews cost estimating packages for Truth In Negotiation Act (TINA) bids and support Contracts department in contract negotiations.
  • Revenue Recognition Compliance for both overtime (POC) and point in time (Bill & Ship) contracts
  • Ensures compliance with applicable financial policies and regulations (FAR, DFAR).
  • Responds to and fulfills external audit requests.

Qualifications:

Minimum:


  • BA/BS degree (accounting/finance field preferred) and 02 years of experience
  • Master's degree in related field and minim 1 year related experience in accounting
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred:


  • BA/BS degree (accounting/finance field preferred) and minimum 24 years' experience in accounting
  • General knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization
  • Strongly preferred to have had experience in government contracting practices in a DoD environment
  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
  • Ability and willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines, as needed
  • Process improvement experience
  • Experience transitioning legacy accounting systems to a new one
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to influence and extract information from other functions
