Maintenance Technician - Whitestown, United States - Facility Concepts Inc.

Description

In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance work throughout the facility, as well as providing assistance to the manufacturing and warehouse departments.

• Cleans and maintain machines, shop tools, equipment and fixtures, tables, benches and floor.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment
• Facility maintenance such as changing light bulbs, moving furniture, and minor repairs.
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Other duties as assigned
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems

• Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Maintains the housekeeping storage room in a neat fashion.
• Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to the appropriate personnel.
• Provides assistance to Janitorial staff and other staff members as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Assist production/assembly or warehouse department when needed.
• Deliver or pick up products
• Assist with organization and cleaning of warehouse area and parts stock.

• Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers to aid in satisfying customer and facility requirements.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
• Walking, standing for up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Use of powered equipment fork lift, scissor lift tow motors
