A 10 BesG The district of Merzig-Wadern is seeking two administrative officers (m/f/d) for long-term care assistance in the Department of Social Affairs, to start as soon as possible.

One position is full-time (39 hours/week) and primarily located in Wadern, while the other position is part-time (35 hours/week) and primarily located in Merzig.


The main responsibilities of this position include:
§ Processing applications for long-term care assistance according to §§ 61 ff. SGB XII § Providing advice and information to those seeking assistance, family members, legal guardians, and others on available support options § Reviewing eligibility requirements and determining primary service providers § Calculating benefit entitlements, issuing decisions, and disbursing payments § Identifying the type of assistance needed and coordinating with other agencies to provide support.
