Description
A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technical IT Project Manager to join our Data Warehouse group in Washington, DC. The Technical IT Project Manager will provide data warehouse infrastructure support.


This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical leadership, strategic and tactical planning and oversight in the management and administration of the project.
  • Ensure technical performance of all Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) area products and services within cost and schedule for the project.
  • Manage and supervise the work efforts of subordinate personnel.
  • Prepare Project Management Status Reports, Program Management Reviews, meeting minutes, a Program Management Plan and other reports as requested by the customer.
  • Oversee contract management and performance, configuration control, risk management, data management, production management and cost control for the project.
  • Manage a Data Warehouse that uses Oracle and Postgres relational database management systems. The data warehouse includes UNIX, MS Windows and Sunbased operating systems and are connected to Fiber Channel and iSCSI storage environments. VMware, Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems are on the servers.
  • Phase in new technologies into the data warehouse baseline, such as virtual machines, Ubuntu and Elastic Kubernetes Service.
  • Provide development, test, integration, staging and production environment support.
  • Maintain the daily operation of systems on the network, operating systems and the multidisciplined intelligence automated systems and databases the system accesses.

Skills Required:


  • Experience working with a large organization (>35,000 customers).
  • Experience providing scheduled deliverables and ad hoc reports.
  • Experience managing IT projects.
  • Experience managing teams with more than 10 members.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Selfmotivated to take ownership of projects.
  • US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required.
  • Verification of past employment, verification of education and references are also required.

Skills Preferred:


  • Experience working with a large organization (>35,000 customers).
  • Experience maintaining a data warehouse for a large enterprise (over 35,000 users).
  • Experience collaborating with peer and client teams.
  • Experience working remotely and onsite.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering or related field and 15 years of IT experience.
