The Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP works on innovative solutions in the fields of vacuum coating and surface treatment. Fraunhofer FEP offers a wide range of research, development and pilot production opportunities.

Process-oriented hardware development is one of the important business models at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP. The focus is always on the treatment and coating of surfaces using plasma and electron beam technologies. The Systems department works closely with process engineers and scientists on technologically demanding processes for new applications. From coating technologies for microelectronics to sustainable packaging films, from treatment technologies for seeds to medical implants: the Systems team supports the development of customized hardware components and technology packages, such as electron beam systems, plasma sources or coating solutions. This includes the development of prototypes for the institute's own equipment park, as well as the transfer of systems to our industrial partners.

We are offering a position as Head of Systems at the Fraunhofer Institute for Organic Electronics, Electron Beam and Plasma Technology FEP, starting as soon as possible.
