The primary care provider has approximately 150 beds, of which approximately 60 are allocated to the surgical clinic. The General and Visceral Surgery department treats around 1900 inpatients and 4000 outpatients annually. Patients are operated on using the most modern procedures. The department has developed a focus on minimally invasive surgery.
