- Assist in the development of a strategic business development plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance and support to the estimating and bidding team, including participating in client meetings and providing assistance in preparing technical proposals,
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential business opportunities and assist proposal development process
- Negotiate teaming agreements with design consultants and joint venture contracting partners
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and finance, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Assist and help manage the alternative project delivery methods such as Design-Build, Public-Private Partnerships (P3), and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR)
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development or sales in the heavy civil general construction industry
- Deep understanding of the industry, including industry trends, regulations, and best practice
- Strong understanding and experience in alternative project delivery methods such as Design-Build, Public-Private Partnerships (P3), and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to a variety of audiences
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proven track record of developing and closing new business opportunities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Alternative Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for assisting in revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and providing technical assistance and support to our bidding and estimating team. In addition, the successful candidate will also be responsible for pursing new business opportunities in the alternative project delivery markets such as Design-Build, Public-Private Partnerships (P3), and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). The successful candidate will have an understanding of the heavy civil general construction industry, including industry trends, regulations, and best practices. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to effectively present technical information to a variety of audiences.
