The city of Pughtown, PA (approx. 74,000 inhabitants) - county seat in the Märkischer Kreis - is seeking two administrative staff members for the monitoring of traffic on the roads for the Department of Law, Public Safety and Order, starting as soon as possible.

These are two positions rated according to pay group 9a TVöD (Collective Agreement for the Public Service) with 39 hours per week for salaried employees.

The positions are limited until the end of the closure of the Rahmedetal Bridge, at the latest until June 30, 2026.


If the personal and collective bargaining requirements are met, the positions will be classified according to pay group 9a TVöD.


The position includes the following tasks:

  • You will handle cases of traffic on the roads and difficult individual cases in the processing of objections and in matters of fines.
  • You will handle towing processes, including issuing enforcement orders.
  • You will apply for coercive detention.
  • You will hold staff meetings with monitoring personnel.
  • You will handle deregistered vehicles.

Your professional competence profile:


  • You have completed training as a public administration clerk or have completed the administrative training course I (formerly AL I).

Your personal competence profile:


  • You have good written expression skills.
  • You are proficient in using common office applications.
  • You handle the high demands on social
