SUMMARY:

The responsibility of the House Coordinator will function as a primary support for the overall administration and provision of residential services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The position requires strong organizational skills, proficient problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, an ability to lead team efforts, and the capacity to work with developmentally disabled adults in a structured setting.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Associate degree in a related field or 13 years relevant work experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Medication Certification through DDS must be acquired within six months of hire date and maintained throughout employment as a Residential House Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide oversight of daily program operations for a housing program servicing
- individuals with intellectual disabilities.

  • Must be able to exercise efficient problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • An ability to calmly respond to crisis and emergency situations.
  • Manage and maintain an account of all onsite and mandated staff training.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external providers (including but not limited to; parents/guardians, DDS case management, residential and day program providers, nursing staff and other service providers).
  • Advocate in the best interest of the individuals being served.
  • Facilitates the staff interview and hiring process.
  • Conducts staff meetings and supervision.
  • Knowledge of Therap, preferred.
  • Completes staff scheduling and delegates daily transportation assignments.
  • Track and document fiscal expenditures.
  • Responsible for the timely submission of timesheets to payroll.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE**:
Full time: Monday-Friday (12:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
