SUMMARY:
The responsibility of the House Coordinator will function as a primary support for the overall administration and provision of residential services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The position requires strong organizational skills, proficient problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, an ability to lead team efforts, and the capacity to work with developmentally disabled adults in a structured setting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate degree in a related field or 13 years relevant work experience.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Medication Certification through DDS must be acquired within six months of hire date and maintained throughout employment as a Residential House Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight of daily program operations for a housing program servicing
- Must be able to exercise efficient problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- An ability to calmly respond to crisis and emergency situations.
- Manage and maintain an account of all onsite and mandated staff training.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external providers (including but not limited to; parents/guardians, DDS case management, residential and day program providers, nursing staff and other service providers).
- Advocate in the best interest of the individuals being served.
- Facilitates the staff interview and hiring process.
- Conducts staff meetings and supervision.
- Knowledge of Therap, preferred.
- Completes staff scheduling and delegates daily transportation assignments.
- Track and document fiscal expenditures.
- Responsible for the timely submission of timesheets to payroll.
- Other duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE**:
Full time: Monday-Friday (12:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
