The Post Producer will manage and coordinate the post process including, but not limited to: editorial, motion graphics (2 & 3D animation, VFX, titling), sound design and sound mix, color grading, knowledge of stock and music licensing.


Post Producer will also be responsible for keeping track of client and internal review and delivery schedules as well as estimating and subsequently managing/tracking post-production budget.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the approval process, gathering and communicating feedback from Creative Directors and team to production artists and editors, and do quality assurance.
  • For postonly jobs put together estimates, communication details/specifications and track budget during project. For live productions with post, work with team to ensure postproduction team is prepped and timelines are in order.
  • Deliver all projects to the high standard of quality expected by both JMS and client.
  • Keep projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Ensure post projects are properly resourced and work with team to assign or source appropriate staff for assigned projects.
  • Do any necessary due diligence on fair market rates for freelancers or vendors needed on a project.
  • Track invoices with Producer.
  • Provide team with frequent project status updates.
  • Communicate and execute on feedback shared by stakeholders.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2+ years of postproduction experience at a production company or in an agency studio setting.
  • Knowledge of the latest software and postproduction workflows necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple post production projects for multiple clients.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines and problemsolve calmly.
  • Maintains a positive, collaborative, and solutionoriented attitude.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and stay proactive without inperson supervision.
This is a full-time position with a generous benefits package including healthcare benefits, FSA, PTO and 401k+ match. **Location is onsite full time at our Berkeley studio.
