    Job Summary
    This position focuses on adult acute care settings. Responsibilities include providing occupational therapy treatments as per patient plans, documenting progress, supervising rehabilitation technicians, assisting with program development, and offering guidance to students. Additionally, participation in departmental operations is required.

    Minimum Qualifications
    Education: Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist program.
    Licenses/Certification: Current Occupational Therapy license from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners and Basic Life Support certification.
    Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
    • Ability to lift and carry weight, stand for extended periods, and demonstrate fine motor skills and effective communication.
    Principal Accountabilities
    • Implement occupational therapy treatment programs under supervision.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
    • Manage time efficiently and complete documentation accurately.
    • Act as a clinical resource and mentor to others.
    • Participate in committees and present relevant topics.
    • Ensure safe and quality care for patients and adhere to organizational standards.
    • Promote professional growth and compassionate care within the community.
    • Additional assigned duties.
