TITLE:
Operations Manager


REPORTS TO:
Director of Finance and Operations


SUPERVISES:
Schoolwide Systems & Operations _(Schoolwide Technology Resources, Standardized Testing, Schoolwide Schedules)_


JOB FUNCTION:

Coordinates and supervises all aspects of instructional technology in the school, including instructional integration, technology standards, professional development, and curriculum development.

Oversee other schoolwide systems and schedules.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordinate the computer education program in across the school.
  • Promote effective instructional use of technology in all schools.
  • Coordinate and advise in the selection and purchase of instructional software, hardware, and other electronic instructional resources.
  • Oversee ongoing technology professional development.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor plans for effective use of technology.
  • Develop, implement and monitor technology inventory.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor standardized testing plans.
  • Coordinate with technical support resources to ensure that instructional technology (including staff copiers and printers) works properly.
  • Support the use of technology for student assessment.
  • Promote compliance with governmental standards and policies as related to Illinois State Standardized Tests.
  • Disseminate information pertaining to instructional technology to teachers, parents, staff, and community.
  • Engage in school, community, and public relations activities pertaining to instructional technology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull light weights.

Pay:
$40, $60,000.00 per year
