The Nymphenburg Palace and Garden Administration is currently seeking a gardener (m/f/d) specializing in ornamental horticulture to join our team as a temporary replacement until October 31, 2025.


The Nymphenburg Palace and Garden Administration is one of 17 external administrations of the Bavarian Palace Department and is responsible for managing the visitor attractions of Nymphenburg Palace and Marstall Museum, the park castles and Blutenburg Palace, as well as maintaining the Nymphenburg Palace Park and Hartmannshofer Park.

With over 60 employees, we strive to provide a unique palace experience and a pleasant visit to the palace park.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Production, care and cultivation of ornamental plants
  • Fertilization and plant protection measures
  • Planting, maintenance and repair work in outdoor and ornamental gardens
  • Care of historical collections (potted plants, etc.)
  • Maintenance of waterbound and solid pathways
  • Care and mowing of meadows and lawns
  • Machine maintenance

We expect from you:

  • Successfully completed journeyman's examination in ornamental horticulture
  • Knowledge of meadow and lawn care
  • Independent work ethic and ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
  • Class B driver's license (desirable)
