About the team
Our Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Team (RME Team) ensures that our devices and equipment are always functioning optimally. We are a team of technicians and engineers, consisting of excellent team players and led by experienced leaders. Together, we work to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot equipment in our global network of fulfillment centers.

Some of our team members are leaders who oversee the team's work on exciting, innovative technology - some of which is unique to Amazon.

From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing general maintenance at a site and repairing essential distribution equipment, our team handles a large portion of the technical tasks at Amazon.

This includes ensuring that buildings comply with legal requirements to keep everyone safe and our sites operating at maximum efficiency.

There are numerous opportunities for advancement within the RME Team and throughout the Amazon company.

All of our activities are focused on reducing downtime at Amazon's key operational sites, so that customers receive their orders on time.

Often, we work early mornings, late evenings, or overnight shifts to perform maintenance with minimal disruption. If we find a better way to complete a task, we have the skills and opportunities to introduce completely new processes or groundbreaking technology, such as Amazon Robotics or our Complex
