Description

Duties:


  • Receiving cash or credit cards in payment for merchandise, registration or services such as equipment checkout and gives change as required.
  • Maintains record of sales. At the end of shift, turns in sales records, money, customer checks or charge slip and accounts for all moneys and transactions.
  • Provides information concerning availability of goods sold, prices, and condition of merchandise.
  • Ensures that proper stock levels are maintained; secures stock at close of business.
  • Cleans counter or serving area. Assists with conducting inventories.

Conditions of Employment:


  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must be willing to accept a varying or rotating shift to include nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:


  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at level necessary to complete required reports.

PCS Costs

  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials

  • This is a paybanded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
    _If authorized, only regular (fulltime, parttime, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._ When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of nonovertime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances

  • Nonforeign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
