Senior Expert (m/w/d) Drug Product Filling (LdH) for a medium-sized pharmaceutical company in Eastern Germany

My client is a globally operating and research-based pharmaceutical company in Eastern Germany, specializing in the development of medicines. Currently, they are looking for a Senior Expert (m/w/d) Drug Product Filling due to expansion and replacement. As a leader, you will manage this department of production (Head of Manufacturing) with approximately 15 employees and report to the Head of Operations.

Your responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for continuously optimizing processes and procedures. You will coordinate the implementation of measures for disruptions and deviations. Additionally, you will identify and escalate technical and procedural issues. You will also coordinate and optimize equipment for processes. Approving manufacturing instructions and reports for accuracy and completeness is also part of your responsibilities.

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in natural sciences or technical field (university/college)
  • Several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in the areas of sterile filling, preparation, and formulation
  • Thorough knowledge of industrial planning and manufacturing processes, as well as pharmaceutical laws
  • Qualification for the responsibility as Head of Manufacturing according to §12 AMWHV
  • Fluent in English, both written
