The German Weather Service (DWD) is looking for trainees for the 2024 training year at the Offenbach am Main location.

Trainee for Administrative Assistant (m/f/d)

Federal Administration


During the 3-year training program for administrative assistants in the federal administration, you will gain comprehensive insights into the various administrative areas of a federal authority, such as personnel, budget, accounting, and procurement.

The main tasks of administrative assistants are often carried out through the use of laws and increasingly digital tools, such as MS Word or MS Excel.

You will complete the practical training part at the DWD headquarters in Offenbach. In addition to vocational school, further training seminars will take place at the vocational training center in Koblenz. After passing the exam, there is usually the possibility of being hired for at least one year. Depending on the performance shown during the training period, permanent employment is aimed for.
