WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Columbus is the European Module of the International Space Station (ISS).

This module is monitored and controlled by the ESA Flight Control Team at the Columbus Control Centre (Col-CC), located at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) facility in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.

The Flight Control team includes various positions, one of which is STRATOS.

As a STRATOS team member, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the ESA Columbus systems.

In this role, you will oversee the on-orbit operations of the Thermal Control (TCS), Environmental Control (ECLSS), Electrical Power Distribution (EPDS), Data Monitoring (DMS), and Communications (COMMS) systems of the Columbus Module.

These main tasks are divided between real-time/on-console operations and offline/office tasks.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking engineers with experience or a willingness to work in shift patterns to ensure 24/7 support.
