Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Landscape Purchaser to join our team.
The Landscape Purchaser will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our landscaping projects by procuring high-quality materials and supplies at competitive prices.
This position requires a keen eye for quality, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Research, source, and procure a wide range of landscaping materials, including plants, trees, soil, mulch, hardscape materials, and equipment, ensuring they meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance, including quality, reliability, and responsiveness, and make recommendations for improvement or changes when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the landscaping team to understand project needs, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain favorable vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Detailoriented with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Knowledge of landscaping materials, techniques, and industry standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Pay:
$65, $85,000.00 per year
