The European Site & Verbund Management continuously develops and ensures the competitiveness of BASF's major European sites. We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at these sites. This ensures the basic supply of the company's divisions, allowing them to successfully operate in the market. In addition, we provide advice to the plants on all matters related to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our department provides planning and construction services for production and office buildings at the Ludwigshafen site. The focus is on building in existing structures and upgrading existing buildings. You can expect a variety of exciting and challenging construction tasks from all areas of building technology.

You will conduct structural evaluations of production buildings at the Ludwigshafen site and develop renovation concepts in the areas of structure, fire protection, and water management.

For conversions and new constructions in plant engineering, you will design apparatus scaffolding, pipe bridges, and other steel and solid structures in collaboration with engineers from the process and mechanical engineering departments.

You will be responsible for cost estimates, schedules, and planning quality, and advise our internal customers from the production and chemical plants on all building-related questions
