The Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) carries out construction tasks for the federal government in Berlin, Bonn and abroad, as well as cultural buildings, research and laboratory buildings for federal institutions.

It manages outstanding and complex construction projects in the tension between design and technical requirements, with high demands on architectural culture and cost-effectiveness.

The BBR is looking for a Database Developer (f/m/d) for the B 7 "Information Technology" department at the earliest possible date, on a permanent basis.

The place of employment is Cottbus, Bonn or Berlin.

Responsibilities The cross-sectional department B bundles a variety of fundamental and specialized technical and construction-related topics.

With its diverse expertise, it supports the project management departments of the construction departments, develops internal technical work instructions and exercises supervisory tasks as the "leading level of expertise" (FfE).

Furthermore, it is responsible across departments for the introduction and support of digital construction and technical information technology.

You are responsible for consulting and strategic planning of the software and development landscape You plan and implement software development projects You develop conceptual foundations, including the evaluation of the technical requirements of the clients, examination of technical feasibility or creation of specifications You support the continuous analysis and further development of database systems and related applications at BBR and BBSR, especially for the research data center in Cottbus You provide
