Description
We are seeking a Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Paralegal to join our team. The Paralegal will support the Arb attorney and the team.

  • Provide support to the lawyer(s) to enhance law office effectiveness.
  • Communicating with clients, law offices, insurance adjusters, and medical offices.
  • Prepare filings within the state appointed administrator, this includes motions, briefs, and arbitration statements and discovery demands.
  • Obtain medical records from providers.
  • Monitor deadlines and be proficient in maintaining the law office calendar.
  • Prepare disbursements.
  • At least five years of working experience as a legal assistant or paralegal experience in the Personal Injury Protection (PIP) field.
  • Familiarity with Forthright and the statutes and regulations regarding New Jersey No-Fault.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of the daytoday operations of a law office
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in M.S. Office and Dropbox
  • Excellent secretarial and organizational skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure.
  • Must be willing and able to work in a fastpaced office setting.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Plainfield, NJ: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:

Microsoft Office: 5 years (required)

  • Case Managment Software experience a must.
  • PI Protection and Litigation (Personal Injury): 5 years (required)

Work Location:
In person.
