I have purchased a duplex penthouse in Lewisville, OH. It has central heating.
There are two downspouts in the living room, one downspout in each bathroom, one downspout for two radiators in two rooms, and another downspout for two more radiators in two other rooms.
One of the bathrooms has been disabled. It was closed off on the lower floor when it was built.
The job would involve changing a 21-element radiator, which I estimate will become 10 elements when switched to aluminum, in the living room.
Additionally, changing the one in the bathroom that has been removed (the other one has been disabled). It is about four elements.
Also, changing two radiators in two rooms. They have about four to six elements.
And then, installing two radiators in the other two rooms because they made the mistake of leaving only one radiator between the two rooms and the wall right in the middle. The plan is to remove that radiator and install two, one on each side of that wall, which will then be finished by a mason. I also estimate that each one will have about four elements.
I have already calculated the cost of the radiators with the valves.
My main interest is in the labor. My choice will depend on this, as well as professionalism and references.
