Description

We are seeking a Head of Products and Equipment (m/w/d) for our location in Ottobrunn, Germany. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing the business line, ensuring strategic development and growth of the team
Developing project management skills for products and equipment, including automation and special machine development, with a focus on crossdepartmental projects and agile methodologies
Ensuring technical solutions meet all requirements in terms of time, cost, and quality
Collaborating closely with project and operations stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with guidelines and processes
Coordinating and improving collaboration with external partners and ensuring necessary skills and resources are available
Taking responsibility for new and ongoing developments and resource management for Products & Equipment, including automation solutions for measuring devices and machines
Monitoring the market and driving product range development in the areas of automation and robotics
Initiating and overseeing R&D projects with the team at Testia
Securing external funding for projects from customers and/or government agencies
Guiding technology development according to Testia's milestone and TRL rules
Ensuring time, cost, and quality on R&D projects
Contributing to the management team and reporting directly to the Managing Director

Your qualifications:

Completed studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
Knowledge of automation and basic welding, as well as experience with bus systems/interfaces
