Produce Company is looking for a full-time, experienced Operation Assistant.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the warehouse operations and shipping department
- Handle shipment scheduling, planning, system update and shipment tracking
- Organizing and overseeing freight shipments
- Coordinating with suppliers and customer in shipment, domestic trucking companies and warehouses to ensure safe and timely delivery to clients
- Update customers on shipment schedule/status as needed
- Filing and data entry along with other paperwork duties
- Collaborate with other branches and departments to ensure timely shipping
- Handle customer service issues as needed, such as researching and resolving shipment discrepancies, damages, or product quality issues etc.
Qualification:
- Knowledge of operations and logistics: 1 year (preferred)
- Freight forwarding and/or supply chain management experience is a plus
- Good organizational skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to learn.
