For the world's leading manufacturer of liquid ring vacuum pumps, compressors, and customized vacuum and compressor systems, we are looking for YOU as a

Purchaser (m/f/d)

Tasks:

Creating inquiries with potential suppliers
Creating price comparisons
Clarifying technical execution and quality requirements with the relevant departments
Performing master data maintenance after receipt of offers regarding prices, delivery times, etc.
Converting purchase requisitions into orders
Checking order confirmations and resolving discrepancies regarding quantities and invoices
Participating in negotiations on quantities, prices, delivery dates, delivery and payment terms, cost coverage, etc.
Maintaining contacts with domestic and foreign suppliers
Continuous optimization of the procurement situation, if necessary initiating price and value analyses, substitution of parts/materials with the respective departments
Participation in supplier evaluations

Qualifications:

Completed commercial and/or technical education, preferably as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d) or comparable education with at least 2 years of professional experience
Negotiation experience or skills advantageous
Good German
