For the location in the greater Oldenburg/Bremen area, we are looking for a Senior Associate Sustainability Management (m/f/d) at Aljo, a second-generation family business in the aluminum processing industry with 320 employees and a turnover of approximately 60 million EUR.

The company consists of the Automotive, Aerospace, and Marine Technologies divisions and has been developing and manufacturing innovative lightweight solutions for over 50 years.

As part of the Aljo family, you will support the establishment of the sustainability organization, including sustainability reporting ("non-financial reporting") according to the reporting requirements of CSRD/ESRS.

Your responsibilities would include:
Implementation and further development of our sustainability strategy in all areas of the company "Translation" of future regulatory requirements for Aljo into practical guidelines, goals, and measures Establishment of a key figure landscape in line with the key reporting topics of CSRD and ESRS Preparation and co-design of the sustainability report according to ESRS and coordination of related tasks within the company Raising awareness among the Aljo family about relevant sustainability topics Integration of existing management systems, in particular ISO 9001 and ISO, into an integrated sustainability management system in close coordination with the management system managers Coordination and implementation of sustainability-related audits You bring with you: University degree in sustainability or business administration with experience in the field of sustainability Experience in sustainability reporting and management Knowledge of regulatory requirements, especially EU Taxonomy and CSRD Strong project management skills and in-depth knowledge of integrated management systems Proactive
