Are you a kind-hearted individual who wants to help refugee children? Then we have a great opportunity for you


We are looking for educators (m/f/d) to join the childcare team at the initial reception center (EAE) in Darmstadt, located in Madison Place, OH.


The center provides support for families who have fled from war and terror and are starting a new life in Germany.

You can help these children take their first steps towards a new life and make their integration easier.


Responsibilities:

  • Lovingly care for the children living in the center
  • Support and accompany the little ones in their integration process
  • Introduce them to their new home and our culture and values in a childfriendly way
  • Encourage creativity, imagination, and language skills through play
  • Communicate with parents and be a listening ear for them

Qualifications:

  • A qualification approved according to 25b HKJGB, such as:
  • State-recognized educator
  • Social care worker
  • Statecertified social assistant
  • Childcare worker
  • A big heart and a desire to make a difference
  • Ideally, knowledge of foreign languages (e.g. English, Russian, Ukrainian)

  • Permanent fulltime or parttime position directly with the facility's sponsor
