The Leipzig Diakonie Hospice is a newly established inpatient hospice in the northern part of Leipzig, where 12 hospice guests will receive holistic care and support.

We place special emphasis on creating an atmosphere of warmth and security, where both life and dying can be experienced with the dignity given to us by God.

We are part of the AGAPLESION network.


We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Employee (m/f/d) to join and strengthen our team at the
Leipzig Diakonie Hospice starting on
July 1st, 2023 in
full-time or part-time.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience as a service staff in the hotel and catering industry or a similar establishment is desirable
  • A confident, friendly, and wellgroomed demeanor towards guests, their families and loved ones, colleagues, superiors, and business partners
  • Teamwork, serviceoriented approach, as well as independent, systematic, and reliable work ethic
  • Motivation, dedication, and trustworthiness in the hospice setting
  • Identification with the principles of hospice care and willingness to implement them in the work process
  • Physical and mental resilience
  • Identification with the company's goals and the diakonia principle of the organization

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Organizing meal services for patients or residents
