Job Description:
Your tasks as a member of our team in Myrtle, MN will include:

  • Supporting the design team in bringing ideas to life by conducting trend research, sourcing materials and colors, and creating mood boards and visual aids for the design process.
  • Assisting in the preparation of CADs and drawings using Illustrator.
  • Collaborating with the design team during the initial sketch phase, helping to create overviews and prepare for design presentations.
  • Aiding the product development team in sourcing components, materials, trims, and accessories as needed.
  • Scheduling all key meetings for different stages of development according to the company's critical path.
  • Preparing all necessary materials, mood boards, and products for meetings.
  • Updating and maintaining all materials after each key development stage and communicating updates to relevant departments.
  • Contacting suppliers when necessary, including following up on prototypes and samples, ordering raw materials and components.
  • Working closely with the merchandising and marketing teams to make changes and updates to the collections.
  • Managing samples by keeping track of their movement, filing and storing them in an organized manner.
  • Providing general assistance and administrative support to the product and design teams.

Profile:

  • An academic degree, preferably in Business Administration, Fashion, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably with highend fashion brands.
  • Some understanding of product development in the accessories and footwear industries.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop
