Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for an environmental engineer for our location in Berlin.

Your responsibilities
Development and implementation of procedures for maintaining and managing the environmental management system (ISO 14001:2015) as well as the FSC product chain certification (Chain of Custody according to FSC-STD)
Identification and implementation of environmental policy concepts, key figures, and reports
Monitoring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company instructions in an interface function (internal & external)
Participation in the continuous optimization of environmental protection and management system
Responsibility for and management of topics related to water, soil, emission, and immission protection
Analysis and evaluation of systems, building technology, and buildings from an EHS perspective
Support of construction projects (e.g. review of disposal concepts) as well as creation and further development of the Product Environmental Footprint
Your profile
Completed technical university degree (e.g. in environmental, process, or industrial engineering)
Relevant professional experience in a similar position
Solid user knowledge of common MS Office products
In-depth knowledge of operational environmental protection (ISO 14001 and ISO and FSC certification (product chain certification)
Communication skills, assertiveness, teamwork, and a responsible and structured way of working round off your profile
Very good English skills in spoken and written form.
