What to expect at Golden Valley:

  • During your apprenticeship as a canal builder (m/f/d), you will learn how to lay pipes for electricity, water, district heating, internet, or telephone, and how to build sewage systems
  • You will learn how to properly prepare a construction site, including securing and excavating trenches
  • You will learn how to operate modern machinery and tools
  • You will be involved in various construction projects, digging trenches and shafts, pouring concrete, and bricklaying
  • You will use plans, construction drawings, and surveying equipment to accurately calculate the flow of wastewater with the appropriate slope
  • We will train you to become an expert in the field of canal construction

Your foundation:
  • You will have completed your secondary or high school diploma by July 2024
  • You have good grades in math and physics
  • You have manual dexterity and a good technical understanding
