For the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), we manage the funding program "EXIST - Start-ups from Science" in the department "Entrepreneurship, Transfer and Innovation Promotion" (GTI).

For the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (MWIKE NRW), we manage the funding competition "Excellence Start-up Center.

NRW". The aim of both funding measures is to improve the start-up climate, promote entrepreneurial spirit, and increase technology-oriented start-ups.


Your tasks:


  • Consulting applicants from science and business on technical and fundingrelated questions in the abovementioned funding programs
  • Support in developing concepts in the context of digitization
  • Examination and evaluation of applications in the field of digital business models in line with funding policy guidelines
  • Preparation of funding decisions
  • Accompaniment of approved projects during their duration
  • Evaluation of project progress, including onsite inspections
  • Further development of ongoing funding concepts, also in a European and international context
