Job Summary and Qualifications:


Under the direction of the Vice President, Quality, Education & Safety, the Director of Quality is responsible for coordinating the multiple facets of the Quality program.

The Quality Director is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Quality Responsible for coordinating facility-wide Performance Improvement activities, data aggregation, analysis and reporting which includes but not limited to: active guidance/leadership in key clinical operational metrics in collaboration with physician and director service line leaders to improve the overall performance of Riverside Community hospital; management of facility policy/procedure process, oversight of Core Measures, NCD/LCD process in collaboration with the assigned executive sponsors, FMEA facilitation in collaboration on an annual basis with the Patient Safety/Risk Director, and assisting with achieving/maintaining Joint Commission Disease

What qualifications you will need:


  • Registered Nurse
  • CPHQ preferred but must be attained within 2 years of position start
  • Master's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years clinical acute care; experience in leadership roles in managing and coordinating groups necessary; project management experience preferred
  • Assisting the Regulatory Compliance Manager with maintaining continuous survey readiness
Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901.

It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County.

The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures.

Riverside has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
