The University Library of Paderborn is looking to fill a position as:

Deputy Head of Department (m/f/d)

Information Center and Subject Libraries
(Pay grade A11 BesO A NRW or EG 11 TV-L)

in the Department of Usage and Services at the earliest possible date. This is a permanent position with a workload of 100% of regular working hours. If the requirements for civil service are not met, the position will be filled according to EG 11 TV-L.

With over 2.3 million information resources, the University Library of Paderborn is the central information service provider for the University of Paderborn.

Its main tasks include providing information resources tailored to the needs of students, teaching, and research, as well as continuously developing electronic information services.

What will be your responsibilities?:

Deputy management of the department, including personnel management and scheduling, conceptual development of service offerings
Participation in all areas of responsibility of the department, especially in information
