The Department of Hygiene and Infection Prevention in Bucyrus, OH is currently seeking a Chemist/Chemical Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our team on a temporary basis for 2 years, with the possibility of extension.

Your responsibilities:

Independent water hygiene testing/chemistry (drinking water, pool water) including:
Wet chemical analysis, ion chromatography, gas chromatography, AAS and TOC testing, electrode and photometer testing methods
Documentation, evaluation, and processing of results, as well as preparation of reports
Maintenance, calibration, and adjustment of measuring equipment and laboratory equipment
Support with laboratory organization, sample collection, and accreditations


Your profile:

Completed training as a Chemist/Chemical Technical Assistant (m/f/d)
Previous work experience is desirable
Conscientious and responsible work ethic
Proficient in MS Office
Open-mindedness and teamwork skills are required
Sense of responsibility, resilience, and flexibility
