For our team of political representation in Berlin, we are looking for a dedicated individual as a Campaigner for international and European climate policy, starting as soon as possible until March 31, 2026.

Full-time (37.5 hours/week) / Location: Berlin

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing political goals and strategies for national and international climate campaigns and ensuring their implementation in the public sphere.
  • Placing the topic in the public debate and further developing Greenpeace's positions to influence the political discourse towards achieving climate goals.
  • Conducting ongoing research and staying informed about current scientific, political, and societal discourses, as well as overseeing scientific studies related to your area of expertise.
  • Acting as a spokesperson for Greenpeace on specialized topics and advocating for our positions and messages in the public sphere, while also building pressure to encourage responsible parties to make necessary changes.
  • Representing the German office in communication with other Greenpeace offices (especially the EU Unit in Brussels and Greenpeace International) and coordinating international activities.
  • Establishing networks with political actors, other initiatives, NGOs, and scientific institutions, and facilitating knowledge exchange with internal and external experts.
  • Advising and preparing briefings for the relevant management, particularly for international climate conferences.
  • Supporting the management of the Political Representation in all tasks, such as developing political strategies for G20 summits and federal elections.
