Description
Meaningful work - these challenges await you

As a civil servant in the works department, you ensure that prisoners receive vocational training and further education that is oriented towards the job market. This allows them to acquire new skills and understand the value of regular work.
With foresight and technical expertise, you manage a work and training facility, such as a carpentry, locksmith, printing or bakery, and also take care of repair and maintenance work on work equipment, machines and technical facilities of the institution. In addition to caring for, treating, providing for and supervising prisoners, you also focus on business and professional principles - such as all customer-oriented requirements regarding quality, performance and product. In close cooperation with psychologists, doctors, educators and social workers, you ensure that prisoners live together responsibly and orderly during their sentence. Your contribution counts: By demanding and promoting prisoners through work, you make a significant contribution to ensuring that they lead a life of social responsibility without committing crimes after their release from prison. You can also take on tasks as a specialist for occupational safety and safety officer. Positions are available at any time - even before the start of training.
