Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for strategic procurement within own product categories
  • Establishing new sources of supply and developing existing suppliers
  • Negotiation and contract management at national and international level
  • Support in the further development of strategic purchasing
  • Monitoring, further development, and optimization of the supplier base
  • Optimization of processes, continuous improvement, and increase in automation rate
  • Continuous market and price analysis
  • Close collaboration with other areas of supply chain management and sales departments
  • Support in complaint and escalation management

Qualifications:

  • Completed commercial studies or vocational training
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Experience with SAP desirable
  • Purchasing experience desirable
  • Strategic, precise, and structured way of working, combined with a handson mentality
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
